Global distribution of chemical plant shutdowns by region 2020
There were seven permanent chemical plant shutdowns between January and March 2020. Of this number, both Latin America and Europe (including Russia and CIS) accounted for equal shares, at 28.5 percent of the chemical plant shutdowns worldwide each, respectively in the first three months of 2020.
