Value added to the GDP in Kenya 2023, by activity
Agriculture had the largest contribution to Kenya's economy in the third quarter of 2023. The sector added roughly 630 billion Kenyan shillings (KSh), approximately 4.75 billion U.S. dollars, to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The amount corresponded to around 17 percent of the total contribution of all industries to the economy. In the same period, the Kenyan GDP at market prices was measured at roughly 3.5 trillion KSh (26.41 billion U.S. dollars).
