Hypertension prevalence in Colombia 2014-2022
In 2017, the prevalence of hypertension in Colombia reached over 16 percent of its population, the highest value reported during the depicted period. In the last year, the share of the Colombian population with hypertension reached around 9.55 percent, a decrease compared to the figure recorded in 2021. That year, an estimated 60 percent of the people in Colombia suffered from overweight.
