Share of households in agriculture in Tanzania 2019-2020, by type of activity
Nearly eight million households in Tanzania were involved in agricultural activities in the agricultural year 2019/2020, which represented 65.3 percent of the total number of Tanzanian households. The majority (65 percent) were engaged in crop farming, while 33 percent were active in both crops and livestock keeping.
