Number of solar PV jobs in Latin America 2022, by country
In 2022, Brazil was the Latin American country with the largest number of employees in the solar photovoltaic energy industry, with some 241 thousand jobs. Mexico ranked second in the region, but by a wide margin, with around 19 thousand jobs. That year, Brazil and Mexico also reported the two largest solar PV generation capacities in Latin America.
