Smart TV sales volume in Russia 2018-2026

In 2022, almost five million smart TV devices were sold in Russia, six percent more than in the previous year. Between 2023 and 2026, the number of smart TVs sold was expected to grow each year.

Smart TV market overview in Russia

Smart TV is one of the most employed smart devices in Russia to date. This is also reflected in the increased internet penetration of smart TVs in the region. As of 2021, around 33 million smart TVs were counted in Russia. The Russian smart TV market was expected to decline in 2022 because consumers were expected to decrease their spending due to the economic crisis caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Smart homes in Russia

Russia has experienced substantial annual growth in the number of smart homes since 2017. The rapidly developing sector generated over 1.1 billion U.S. dollars in revenues in 2022 and was projected to reach 1.86 billion U.S. dollars by 2027. The smart appliances segment was by far the most profitable in the market, accounting for the highest average revenue per home.
