Share of internet users in the Netherlands active on social media platforms 2022
According to a March 2022 survey of internet users in the Netherlands, approximately 85 percent of Dutch were active on WhatsApp. Facebook ranked second, with 67 percent of the respondents reporting using the platform. Instagram followed, with over four in 10 respondents reporting to be active on the popular photo and video-sharing social app. In comparison, only 12 percent of all internet users in the Netherlands reported being active on social video app TikTok.
