Distribution of SVOD viewers in the U.S. 2020-2023, by number of services
In 2023, around 43 percent of American viewers watched content from three or more SVOD providers among the five largest including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO Max, and Disney+, down from 50 percent in the previous year. The share of people that did not use any of these SVOD platforms increased and amounted to 21 percent in 2023.
