Share of drivers stopping at crosswalks for pedestrians in Japan 2016-2022
As of August 2022, around 39.8 percent of automobiles stopped at surveyed crosswalks throughout Japan, increasing from merely 7.6 percent in 2016. Especially, drivers in Nagano Prefecture were mindful, stopping in 82.9 percent of attempted crossings.
