In 2021, 22.4 percent of the German-speaking population used Netflix's video on demand service, an increase compared to only 15.4 percent in 2020. Amazon Prime Video and Sky Ticket were the second and third most popular subscription video on demand services. The figures are based on a survey conducted in Germany among respondents aged 14 years and older.
