Market share of wind turbine manufacturers in Japan 2021
In 2021, Enercon GmbH had the highest share in the Japanese wind energy turbine market, accounting for approximately 38 percent of the new capacity installed. The gross capacity amounted to roughly 211.4 megawatts, but the net figure reached only around 143.1 megawatts due to decommissions. As of December 31, 2021, Enercon was also the manufacturer whose turbines provided the second-highest capacity of wind power in Japan.
