According to a 2022 survey, more than three-quarters (78 percent) of Thai consumers were interested in the ability to make purchases from the afterlife, for example, to continue providing for their families. Meanwhile, half of the respondents in the U.S. said they would be open to the idea of artificial intelligence (AI) doing the post-mortem shopping for them. Across the countries surveyed, consumers in the UK were among the least interested in this option, at 31 percent.
