A 2022 analysis looked at the most popular ski resorts in Canada for the winter season 2021/2022, based on their search results on Google. The study calculated a popularity percentage by dividing the number of Google search queries for an entry by the total number of search queries for all entries. The most popular ski resort in Canada among Canadians was Lake Louise, at 16.77 percent. Meanwhile, world-famous Whistler ranked sixth, at 4.34 percent.
