In 2022, almost 70 percent of expert investors worldwide believed engaging in a sustainable investment strategy would lead to long-term profitability. This was roughly 25 percent higher than the number of beginner investors.

Investors of three different experience levels were asked if they believed investing sustainably was the only way to achieve long-term profitability.

The survey group was comprised of individuals across 33 countries who will invest at least 10,000 euros (or the equivalent) in the next 12 months and who have changed their investments within the last 10 years.

Figures may not add up to 100 percent due to rounding and multiple-choice selection.
