While a good part of the French population supported or sympathized with the mobilization against the pension reform proposed by Emmanuel Macron and Elisabeth Borne's government in January 2023, the proportion of people believing that the mobilization against this reform will lead the government to withdraw it was limited. Those most convinced of the efficiency of the protests were the supporters of the party La France Insoumise (56 percent), and those of the Parti Socialiste (38 percent).
