Planned investments in space development South Korea 2022
In 2022, approximately 730 billion South Korean won was invested in the space industry in South Korea for development by the South Korean government. They planned to increase spending by 14 percent over five years to reach 1.5 trillion won in 2027, and ultimately become a top ten global investor by the 2030s. If successful, investments into the domestic space industry would triple by then compared to 2022.
