Impact of payment methods on cart abandonment behavior in Japan in Japan 2023
The availability of payment methods impacted the online shopping experience of the majority of consumers in Japan, as revealed in a survey conducted in August 2023. While around 48.7 percent of respondents were willing to switch to another payment method, one in four shoppers stated to switch to another website. In a similar manner, over 11 percent would stop their shopping activities.
