Age of B2B e-commerce order systems at small and mid-size businesses in Japan 2022
According to a survey conducted in September 2022 in Japan, the largest share of small and medium-sized businesses that integrated B2B e-commerce into their order receival processes implemented the systems at around the time of the coronavirus pandemic. Almost 37 percent of respondents stated that the web-based ordering systems at their workplaces were around two to three years old at the time of the survey. The B2B systems of around one quarter of surveyed SMEs in the manufacturing and wholesale industries were at least six years old.
