Share of population in Turkey 2022, by level of education
The most common type of education completed in Turkey is an upper secondary school, with 23 percent of the population finishing their education at this level. In the same year, over 20 percent of the adults of age 25 and over had university or other higher education diplomas. In contrast, only 0.5 percent of the population in Turkey held a doctorate degree.
