Most targeted industries by Russian state cyber threat actors 2022-2023

From July 2022 to June 2023, almost 30 percent of the detected network intrusions by the Russian state or state-affiliated cyber threat actors were directed against governments. A further 21 percent of incidents targeted Think tanks and NGOs. According to the research, Russia's state-affiliated cyber threat actors aimed another 11 percent of cyber attacks at education institutions in other countries.
