Europe's share of global wind technology component manufacturing capacity 2021
Europe accounted for almost 50 percent of the global manufacturing capacity for offshore wind towers. By comparison, its share of the onshore wind tower manufacturing capacity was 16 percent. The European Union accounts for approximately 16 percent of global wind power technology manufacturing.
