Household share with smart TVs Germany

Since 2013, the share of households in Germany with a smart TV has increased steadily. As of 2023, around 59 percent of households had a smart TV. Just 15 percent only had access to the internet on their TV via an additional device, or their smartphone, laptop, computer, or tablet.

The values for 2023 are based on the 38.78 million TV households in Germany. The statistic only considers TV sets that are actually connected to the internet.
