Consumers' measure against agricultural challenges in Japan 2023
Proactively choosing domestically produced food products was the leading measure to address agricultural challenges according to consumers in Japan, according to a survey from October 2023. Around 73 percent of respondents stated that making conscious choices for domestically produced ingredients when shopping or eating out is an action consumers can take to support the agriculture sector amid social and environmental challenges.
