Lamborghini: worldwide deliveries 2016-2023, by model
In 2016, around 3,500 Lamborghini cars were delivered; 2,400 of which were of the Huracán model. Both the Huracán and Aventador models sold more units in 2017, with approximately 2,600 and 1,200 units delivered respectively. However, the release of the Urus model in 2018 impacted the performance of these other models. In 2019, the Urus model became Lamborghini's best-seller, with some 5,000 units of the Urus delivered that year compared to around 2,100 Huracáns, and 1,100 Aventadors. Total deliveries decreased in 2020 but immediately recovered between 2021 and 2023, reaching 6,100 Urus and 4,000 Huracáns. The Aventador models did not record similar success, with deliveries dropping by 91.6 percent between 2022 and 2023..
The period of decline in deliveries in 2020 was in the midst of both the COVID-19 pandemic and global semiconductor shortages. It was not only Lamborghini that suffered such losses as the number of cars sold worldwide faced a decline during that same period.
