As of 2021, the majority of people employed in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing industries in Turkey worked in the sub-sector of crop and animal production, hunting, and related service activities, counting nearly 4.9 million. Additionally, the forestry and logging sector registered over 43 thousand people in the country.
