Household structures in Italy 2022

In Italy, households without a nucleus represented 35.5 percent of all households in 2022. Households without a nucleus are people living alone, families composed by eg. two sisters, by a parent living with a separated, widow or divorced child, etc. On the other hand, some 31 percent of all households in the country were couples with children.
