This statistic shows the results of a 2016 survey in which respondents in the United Kingdom (UK), who had never used peer-to-peer networks to either lend or borrow money, were asked what the main factors were behind their choice not to use the platform. Of respondents, 53 percent had a lack of trust in the reliability of investing in peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and 48 percent thought that there was a lack of regulations in the process.
