This statistic displays the scale-up businesses share in the Netherlands from 2008 to 2017. In the period surveyed, the share of fast-growing businesses in the Netherlands declined somewhat. In 2008, roughly 11 percent of the businesses could be defined as a scale-up. By 2016, this was only five percent of the total number of enterprises. The majority of the companies did not grow at all, according to the source.
