Mental health struggles faced by children during COVID-19 South Asia 2021, by country
In a survey conducted among children from select South Asian and Southeast Asian countries in 2021, close to 48 percent of children from Cambodia stated they had felt fear due to the impact of the coronavius (COVID-19) on their lives. While children from all surveyed countries experienced a similar impact on their mental health, responding children from Nepal generally felt less fear, anger, or hopelessness compared to respondents from other countries.
