Nigeria: working hours lost due to COVID-19 in FTE 2020-2023

In 2023, an estimated number of 1.8 million full-time equivalent jobs were lost in Nigeria due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. This was aggregated considering 40 hours per week of working time. In 2022, around 1.4 million full-time equivalent jobs were lost due to the pandemic, decreasing from over 3.4 million in the previous year.
