Value of domestic debt in Ghana 2022, by holder
As of June 2022, the banking sector held the largest sum of Ghana's domestic debt, adding up to over 91.8 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS) - some 7.5 billion U.S. dollars. Moreover, the non-bank sector was responsible for around 70.1 billion GHS of the debt, equivalent to 5.7 billion U.S. dollars.
