U.S. adults' opinion on hybrid and EV incentive provision by political affiliation
Some 67 percent of all U.S. adults surveyed were in favor of providing incentives to increase the use of hybrid and electric vehicles. This share was boosted by respondents identifying as Democrats or Democrat leaning, as 84 percent of them had a favorable opinion of EV incentives. In contrast, over half of the Republican or Republican-leaning participants opposed these measures.
