At nearly 3,400, the Mercedes GLE Class was the most common diesel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model in the United Kingdom's electric car parc as of the fourth quarter of 2022. Four of the five diesel PHEV models with the largest volume of cars in circulation were branded Mercedes-Benz.
