UK: car purchasing intention by vehicle type and living area 2022
In 2022, over half of respondents in large cities, small or medium-size towns, and rural areas of the United Kingdom would consider buying an electric or hybrid vehicle for their next vehicle purchase. Additionally, 17 percent of participants from large cities did not own a vehicle and reported having no plans to acquire one, while six percent of this same group planned to substitute their current car with public transports or a bike.
