Japan: average annual spending of manga otaku 2023

According to a survey conducted in Japan in July 2023, manga otaku on average spent 19.6 thousand Japanese yen per year on their hobby. Based on the same survey, the number of otaku in the manga segment was estimated at 6.74 million people.
