RLWC2021: attendees who had played rugby before in England 2022, by spectator type
During the Rugby League World Cup held in England in 2022, there was a clear correlation between match-going frequency among attendees and their experience playing rugby league. It was found that those who attended multiple matches were more likely to have played rugby league in the past than those who only attended one match. Meanwhile, 48 percent of attendees who were labelled mega fans had experience playing the sport.
