Main reasons for discontinuing product or service use in Japan 2023
According to an online survey conducted in Japan in 2023, the leading reason for discontinuing the usage of a product or cancelling a service contract was the cost reduction of another company's service. Quality improvement in another company's service was the second most common reason, named by 25.2 percent of respondents, followed by insufficient handling of customer inquiries, with 25 percent of respondents.
